Every full colour print is paired equally with a quotation chosen by Nancy from a creative writer, chosen to to enhance the understanding or to challenge the viewer. Writers include Annette Benning, Ingmar Berman and Robert Motherwell to name but three. In fact, the subtitle of the book, "The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls" is a quote from Pablo Picasso.
