For the past 25 years Nancy Guild Bendall’s art has focused on the familiar themes of life from ultra realism to fantasy, and all shades in between. She is now working on themed collections of digital paintings, printed in short portfolio books and as individual art prints. Each painting is paired with a chosen quote from a renowned word artist. ​

       Nancy Guild Bendall is a Canadian artist and story teller. While she has inherited her passion for art from her parents, Nancy’s whimsical writing ability has been shaped through her research and thesis on fantasy literature (M.A., McMaster University) and by her technical training she completed at Sheridan College: School of Fine Arts.
      While Nancy loves to experiment with multi-media materials, such as clay, wood, glass, and metals, she is most proud of her illustrated fantasy novels and portfolio collections of her digital paintings. 
​       Working from her home studio in the artist’s community of Alton, north-west of Toronto, Nancy is inspired by its artistic atmosphere and natural surroundings.
