Working from her home studio in the artist’s community of Alton, north-west of Toronto, Nancy is inspired by both by the artistic atmosphere and the natural surroundings.
Nancy has worked in the mediums of clay, wood, glass, and metals such as bronze and silver.
In recent years Nancy has turned her attention to the iPad to produce a series of Giclee prints that include both fantasy and real world subjects, in an affordable price range.
The art of Nancy Guild Bendall is varied but the images follow familiar themes of of life. Both observational and inventive, they encompass the continuum from realistic to fantasy, and all shades between. There are series, such as the "Study in White" book of horses, and then there are the iPad drawings that formed the inspiration for her fantasy novels.
